2019/01/01 BED BUGS IN ROOM 128. Let me start by saying that I've been a Hilton honors for over 6 years now and I've stayed at this location several times in the past. The room cleanliness was decent but then I got like 20 bites after my first night stay, checked the bed on the second night and found bed bugs. Maintenance came in and confirmed that there were and they were moving. No manager on site that late at night. Next morning the manager dismissed me by saying that the maintenance guy was not trained to identify bed bugs, that they had to send a specialist to confirm. BUGS IN THE ROOM, bed bugs or not, I don't care what they are, IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. But since the maintenance guy was not "trained" to identify bed bugs, I would not get a refund until the specialist confirms. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT? Regardless, I've filed a complaint with corporate and WILL NEVER stay at this location again. 5 hours later after checkout, I got confirmation that there are bed bugs from management and will get the full refund. The experience at the issue being dismissed during checkout left little to be desired.

2019/02/06 Found bedbug on pillow at red roof in plus downtown riverwalk location. Let front desk know and left bug in the sink for them to see.
