My friend and I arrived to the hotel and checked in .. we were assigned room 603 and once we got our room key I went to the room to look things over as I have stayed at a hotel with bed bugs before and am now petrified of them. Upon pulling back the cloth head board cover I saw a bunch ( 20-30) bed bugs just crawling around I automatically left the room and went back to the check in area and sled to be refunded letting them know I saw bed bugs in the room. The lady at the front desk only said ok and that I would have to take up a refund with Expedia as I had used the website to book my stay. I nearly ran out as I didn’t want to risk the two straight weeks of non stop itching.

Date: 6/7/2021 I have stayed at the Ponce De Leon Hotel in the past due to the convenient location. We stayed June 4th-June 7th 2021. On the last day when we were packing our stuff up, my boyfriend picked up his shirt off the floor to pack it and said "What's that? I looks like a bedbug"...I actually put the bug in a plastic bag and took it downstairs to the guy at the front desk to show him that it was a bedbug. He basically said "Thank you, we'll get it taken care of" casually...I asked for a refund for our stay since now I have to decontaminate my luggage and clothes (besides the fact that it's just gross), he said he was not able to to do that. I asked to speak to the manager and he gave me the name and number of Eunice. I called and left her a message. No return call. I called the hotel front desk and was told she comes in at 330pm and gave her my info. No return call. I sent an email to the hotel with pictures of the bedbugs. No return call. So now I'm trying to dispute the charges with my credit card company.
