Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

12/27/2018 8:00 PM We got a room (141) at the Rodeway inn in Almogordo, N.M. and we found bedbugs crawling on the bedsheets and on the side of the bed. We notified management and got a refund. They stated that they weren't aware of any infestations but I see a prior report here.

Stayed there the night of September 28, 2018. Drove out from Georgia and stayed at this hotel on the fly for a family emergency. Woke up to find the bugs and bloospots all on the sheets. Told the desk clerk, who was also the manager I think, and got my money back for the other two days I booked. He was apologetic. A few days later, back in Georgia, I had to go to the doc and get steroids for the terrible bites covering my right arm and other spots on me. I am also reporting them to NM Health Department.
