I stayed in three different rooms because I had booked online and for some reason it broke down into three different reservations and three rooms. The first night I didn't notice bites. The second night in the first room I had multiple bites along my left arm, bites on my ankles and feet. I asked to be moved due to sewage seeping into my room from the adjoining bathroom. I told the person at the desk that they also had a bedbug problem in that room #1105 and she said "Why didn't you mention it before?" I showed her the bites on my arm and said "I'm familiar with NY." She moved me into a much nicer room which had been renovated and I'd hoped that would be the end of the bed bugs. Wrong. The next morning I awoke with painful bites on my toes, thigh and back. I informed the desk that they had bedbugs in the room as well and they said they would look into it. The third room was for one night (#408), and there I woke up the next day with only one additional bite. When I informed the desk staff about the bedbug problem the young man said they called an exterminator "to see if there's a problem in the room", to which I said, "I can show you the bites on my body if you need to see that there's a problem". It's unbelievable that a Christian organization would knowingly have patrons stay in rooms that are infested with bedbugs. Not only was I miserable with itchy welts all over my body for the entire trip, but I have to take lots of precautions now that I'm home in case some got into my bags or clothing. My stay was from 9/16-9/21 2018. It was miserable.
