April 9, 2015 I stayed in Cascade 4118. When I woke up the next morning, I had approx. 50-75 bites on my forearms. I would suggest anyone to immediately call the Nashville Health Dept. - the division that inspects public facilities. I called the "Consider It Done" Button on the hotel phone; and was told a security guard would come up to the room. When he got there, he saw the bites and said he would write an incident report. He said he didn't see anything in the bed. Not knowing anything about these bites, I as ked what I should do. He said the paramedics would be on-site at 8 a.m. if I started to have a reaction. I felt this was going nowhere and they were trying to sweep this issue under the rug. The next day I rec'd a call from the Marriott claims dept. out of Atlanta and said the room was checked and was assured there were no bugs in the room. I asked the claims specialist for a copy of the incident report. She said she wasn't sure she could send it to me. I asked her to e-mail it to me. I then received it - and was absolutely grossed out when I read it. "Target Pest: Biteing Bug. Inspected room found no insects. Found small black lint balls in bed. Preventative Treatment." Room was treated Phaniton? & Genitrol. I'm sure the black lint balls were bug poop. Like most everyone else, not even a sorry. I told the claims specialist I was confident that the bites came from there and that I would report it to the Nashville Health Department. The health department is in the process of checking subject room and surrounding rooms. This has been dramatic - I can't even sleep at night thinking about this - and to think I was in a first class Hotel - so disappointed.

Stayed here 31st July - 3rd August 2019. Me and my partner were bitten constantly. Spoke to lady at the desk as my partner had been bitten on his elbow and it had doubled in size! they told us it was nothing to do with them and to take some benadryl. Not very helpful and won't stay here again.

Found blood stains, signs of bed bug feces and a dead bed bug in bed between the sheet and the mattress cover. Reported to management. Seemed unconcerned. But I was given another room in a different section of the hotel. I did not find any signs of bed bugs in that room. But did not take my luggage in and after sterilizing the tub. I slept there. Was booked to stay three nights. Only stayed the one night. Could not face staying there any longer.
