I was initially scheduled to stay at the Econo Lodge from 8/3/18-8/9/18. On the morning of 8/6/18 at 1am, I found a bed bug in my hotel room and captured it in a ziplock bag. I immediately left the property, found another hotel to stay in, and called the management around 9am to inform them that I would not be finishing my stay and that I was checking out over the phone. The management did not treat me well; they denied that what I had found was a bed bug. They accused me of having brought it in myself and refused any refund or compensation for the stay and cleanings I had to do to my stuff to ensure I didn't track them home. When I returned home, I found out that they also charged me for a night I didn't stay there (after I checked out). After contacting them again, the manager hung up on me. After calling back, he again refused to refund the night that I didn't stay there yet was still charged for. This place is awful and the management the worst I have come across.
