Bedbug Reviews

Aug/15/2018 at 11:45 pm, I found two(2) bed bugs were crawling on the bed and pillow. I reported to front desk, and security personnel inspected the room. After inspection, security personnel admitted there were bedbugs. I'm a flight attendant, I was having layover in Sheraton, and I needed to pick up van from the hotel to go to work to next flight at 3:50 am on 16th. Carrie Martin, Front office manager, said, there is no emergency contact number to call, so she refused to call managers for an hour and refused to make any actions, and they just kept saying that I need to leave all my stuffs to get heat treated which will take a whole day process because once I leave the property, it is no longer their responsibility. So, when I explained her if you let me leave you are infesting whole plane and customers, then she pretended to call manager (I'm saying this because there was no better solutions after she made call). After I made calls to my company representatives, my company let me stay the hotel to get heat treatment. After I notified front office supervisor about that, she started to take proper action to give me new room and take all my stuffs for heat treatment after 2 hours of her trying not to take any responsibilities. I was the one who called my airline company to figure out what to do, and the front office supervisor and security personnel were hiding in the back of front desk, staff only area, and leave me standing up the lobby area while I made several calls to my company representatives for an hour. She doesn't know how to handle this incident, I have no idea what she was trained from the GM. Also, front office manager told me Nathan Wakeen, Director of front office, will contact me and explain about the further steps. However, he never contacted me. Only thing I got was, when my stuffs were done from heat treatment, housekeeping delivered to my room. That was it. Even though it was not my fault, I could not make it to my next flight with no offering any compensation. No sorry no apology from Director of front office. Only manager from security department called me to apology. All I remember is the staffs who had to handle the situation at the moment kept shrinking from their responsibilities. And when I asked for something such as documentary evidence, all of them said ask another staffs. So I asked managers to provide me incident report or any kind of documentary evidence for my company in case I will need it in the future, but they refused to provide me.

During the morning of 11/09 I saw a live bedbug on my bed. I killed it and it was full of blood. I looked around and found a second live bedbug and some bug detritus. Should have checked before I slept! I reported it at the front desk and the manager did not come over. They comped me a $23 lunch and said they were going to give me "Marriot points" which has not happened. I do plan to let Marriot know my concerns as well- especially given the difficulties of de-contaminating when you've been in a contaminated space.
