Bed bugs were reported to management (Del Property Management, a division of Tridel) by numerous resident in early to mid June 2018. They refused to take action and told residents that incidents were isolated despite there being multiple reports. After residents on the upper floors noticed hundreds of bed bugs continuing to come in their units, they demanded inspections of adjacent units. It was discovered that 'ground zero' unit had an extreme bed bug infestation of at least one year. These bed bugs entered the walls and the fan coils units and then spread throughout the building, as well as to the building next door (60 St Patrick). The problem has escalated and there have now been multiple reports of bed bugs on floors 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 (out of 11 storeys), the lobby on the ground floor, and laundry room in the sub-basement. Management will only spray units that already have affected, which pushes the bed bugs to adjacent units. This is a massive problem and some residents have already moved out. Stay VERY far away.
