1. I stayed at Nuvo Suites May 21-23, 2018 for a work trip. I had 21 bites that came up on the 23rd. 2. I emailed and called to speak to the General Manager, and it took a while to get a response. I explained by message and email that I had bites and that as a result of the bites (which were horribly swollen and relentlessly itchy) and not wanting to end up with the bugs in my home, I had to go to go to my doctor to get a shot and medicine, I had to replace some of my things as well as bag up other things that I will not be able to use now for a while to ensure that any bugs in my bag or things die, some of my clothes had to be replaced as well as my luggage, and I had to take things to the dry-cleaner. Manager would only reply to my emails - and delayed at that, and has never once returned any of my calls, and instead had a front desk person do so (which is unacceptable and inappropriate as he is the general manager and it is his job, not his employees' to handle this, especially since I asked for him). While they did reimburse me for the room when I asked, I also asked to be reimbursed for the costs of replacing things and seeking medical attention for my bites. He took nearly 3 weeks to reply to my email asking for reimbursement for those things, and offered to reimburse only half at that. When I replied asking why they were only willing to reimburse half, he never replied.
