Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Around 2am on 5/29 my daughter woke me up and told me she killed a bug crawling on the bed. We immediately got up and I started searching for any others. I did find another one. I took a few pictures and a video and then collected it into one of the bathroom glasses. I brought it down to the front desk. There was a lady and gentleman working that shift. They were both polite, surprised, and offered to move my room. My daughter and i just wanted to leave. The gentleman made sure the hotel had my contact information and he alerted the doorman to help us hail a cab. The hotel management has not contacted me regarding this situation confirming if indeed the bug I gave them was a bed bug. Based on my photos and my own research, I am certain. It would have been nice to hear from management.
