Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Jan 26-27 2017 Checked mattress when I checked in woke at 2am and saw 4 bedbugs that bitten me and 3 more on the mattress, and 1 in my boot. I woke up the owners and 4 other people on my group. Owner said, oh yeah we had a report LAST WEEK but we couldn’t find any. His wife said later, oh we treated the problem with diatomaceous earth and eucalyptus oil. There was some powder on the floor in everyone’s room. My luggage was packed in black plastic and I left it outside at 22 below 0 for 3+ weeks. We found 6 more dead bugs in my luggage. I was lucky they didn’t get in the house. My life was turned upside down. I have no idea what they did hen we left but it was unconscionable to put me in that room without telling us
