I stayed at the Marriott Marquis from 11/26/2017 - 12/1/2017. I developed small itchy bites on my ankles, lower legs, and neck. I reported the problem to the hotel desk on the morning of 12/1/2017 after I realized that they were increasing every night and must be bedbugs. The security guard came and looked at the beds I had already stripped. He did not look under the mattresses, behind the bed or under the bed. He told me that I could leave my clothes and luggage with the hotel for bedbug treatment and he told me that a third party inspection would be done on the 12/6/2017 and that I would be sent the report. I decided to keep my clothes and leave them outside of my home until I got the third party bedbug report. When I got home, my partner and I called the hotel many times and were repeatedly told someone would call us back. I finally got in touch with (name with-held) on 12/26/2017. He told me that he could not tell share the third party inspection with me or give me their contact information. He told me I had to trust him that there were no bedbugs. He said there would be no damages paid for the luggage that is still outside my home. I am sure I had bedbugs since some of my colleagues are infectious disease physicians and the bites and distribution were classic
