November 2, 2017 0100 Found a black looking speck inside a while covered pillow. Upon closer inspection, it was a bed bug, which I squeezed and small amount of blood splattered within the pillow case. Asked to be moved to another room there were no 2 queens available for the night only a King bed with sofa bed. She will have to speak to her supervisor in the morning to try to accommodate us in a 2 Queen room. I told her this was not acceptable since there are 3 of us staying here for a week and I do not want to be moved 3 times and it is already so early in the morning. I requested new linens and comforters to replace the dirty beddings. They reassured me that the Hampton Inn did not have bed bugs but I informed her that according to Trip advisors and Yelp there have been two reports of bed bug infestations at the Hampton Inn. She informed me that she will let her supervisor know about this and moved us to another room that does not have "bed bugs." In the meantime, we took and picture of the bed bug placed it in a ziplock bag and will speak to the supervisor/manager this morning. My main concern is that we will transport these creature back to the mainland to our homes where we will have to deal with the cost of getting Rid of these creature out of our own expense!!
