Checked-in at 10/07/2017 and stayed until 10/13 with my boyfriend. During the night of 10/11 I was bitten several times on my shoulder, upper leg and knees in groups of 3 bites, woke up to a terrible itch at 3 o'clock. The next morning I examined the bed and I found one bedbug lurking in the mattress. Stupid me I left the bug in it's place, as I wanted to show it to the manager called Mo. After that we went to tell about this to the manager and his immediate response was that the bedbugs came with us, they don't have any. He came to our room to see the bedbug I found and what did he do?! He killed it with his finger and wiped it on the floor. After this he called the pest control to examine our room and was explaining to us that the pest control comes to the hotel every month (if I remember correct) with the bedbug canine and they never ever have found anything from the hotel. He said that he will call the hotel owner as well, who we even never ever saw on our stay. The pest control came to the hotel and they asked me to show the bite marks, which had disappeared in the morning (but came back in the evening itching again and have been itching now for 5 days). The pest control guys said that I didn't have any bites on me, because they would show on my skin and would be itching all the time (which I read about later on that the itch gets worse in the evenings). They investigated only our mattress in about 2 minutes and told us to get away from the room if we don't want to get bitten, well, the real reason must have been that we won't see anything they will find. After checking JUST the mattress they told us they found nothing, I said to them that even the manager saw the bug which I showed to him, and the manager denied everything, said that he saw nothing! Which was a huge lie of course. Apparently the pest controls are working together with the hotels, and have been told to find nothing for a nice amount of money. Even the pest control was blaming us, said that we have got the bugs from the public transportation. After the guys left, the manager asked in a loud voice how much will this cost, sounding like WE have to pay for it! For some reason after the incident our blanket had disappeared, together with the bed-skirt, and the rest of the time during our stay we had to sleep in a freezing room without heating, while all the possible windows in the hallways were open and it was 55F/+13C outside, also there was no warm water in the shower. Do not believe the good reviews you might read about this B&B, as they are not true. It's not good value for your money if you have to throw away your whole suitcase after your vacation, because you might carry some living souvenirs with you.
