Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Saint Augustine Florida super 8 motel. I open the sheets and moved the pillows and sat on the bed with my feet under the sheets for about 5 to 10 minutes while I typed an email. This was at 4 PM right after checking. Something caught my eye, 1, 2 3,10, 20..so many bed bugs were swarming..unbelievable. The front desk was not particularly easy when I got my refund. It was not just a couple, it was a full on infestation. Some of them were smaller than a millimeter, some of the bugs were 4 to 6 mm. Disgusting! Do not stay at the super 8, Saint Augustine Florida.
