I stayed at this hotel on August 29, 2017 with a guy friend. the friend left around 1am and I stayed. I was awaken around 2:45 am scratching because I was itching so bad on my arms. I didn't get up. I kept itching and it started at my back so I got up to take a look. I looked in the mirror and looked as if my back was on fire. It was red with bumps that looked like welps. I went back to the bed to take a look and I saw a brown flat bug on the pillow that I had taken to the dresser to look at in the light. I found the other light switch and looked at the bed where I spotted a bug going down behind the mattress. I gathered my stuff and left at about 3:45 am. the next morning I told my guy friend and went to the hotel to make the owner or manager aware of it. Of course he denied it and said he had changed the mattress two months ago. I never told him what room but he stated he had changed the mattress two months ago. I advised him that I was going to report him and he stated again that he do not have bed bugs and at that point I showed him my back and the bite marks which he just looked and said nothing. I left and proceeded to call the local health department but did not get an answer. I called on today and was transferred to three different numbers none of whom could help.
