Bedbug Reviews

18 August 2017- Checked into room with my mother and 5 year old nephew. Gentleman at from desk allows me to view rooms. Upon getting into the room, he apologized for the room floors being unswept. Stated that house keeping had been lazy. My mother and I looked for obvious signs of bed bugs on the mattresses and saw none. 19 August 2017- around 0600, I awoke with my chin and arms burning. I felt bumps on my skin. After looking into the mirror, I noticed bites that I thought belonged to a spider. Once I noticed multiple and the types of bites being, mostly, on the side of my body I'd slept, I realized they are bed bug bites. I, immediately, checked my family for bites, and scrubbed my skin. I separated my clothing but could not throw them out as I had to sign in on my military home station. I took pictures If several bites/areas. 19 August 2017- @approximately 0800, I some to the front desk clerk (female). I was reassured that I'd get a refund by 1800 or 1900 EST. I asked that they not issue the room out to others. On 20 August 2017- I requested contact from guest services of the Red Roof Inn via their website. Nothing. On 21 August 2017- I called and was informed guest services was closed. I submitted another request for contact via their website. Nothing. On 22 August 2017- I called guest services and was asked to give the hotel time to correct the issue. I asked about the room being issued to others and the question went unanswered. I have still not received a call back, a refund, i been told of the room has been closed off.

But stayed in Room 115. Room appeared to be clean with other minor issues such as toilet wasn't working. Woke up the next morning with bites all over my body. This happened August 24, 2019. Inform the lady at the front desk she said that they were aware of the bed bug issue and to call later to speak with the manager. Called later and the manager refunded me half the cost of the Room and assured me that they are pass control was going to take care of it.
