We arrived to our cabin at 10:30pm, had already checked in over the phone so we had our directions a key code emailed. I always check for bed bugs anywhere we stay, the cabin wasnt the cleanest place but it was late and things happen. After a 3 hour drive the kids wanted in the hot tub as I unloaded the car I decided to wash the extra sheets and was going to put them on the sofa pull out bed, so I got my flash light and didn't notice anything at first suddenly 2 bugs came crawling from a tiny thread hole in the crease of the couch I got those with a napkin and seen a couple more. By this time it was 12:20 a.m. I called the cabins answering service they contacted the property manager and she said there was nothing she could do at that time except do a refund to my card. We packed up and left, it took til 2:30-3 am to find somewhere to stay for the night, The lady acted like it was no big deal aside from saying she didn't have a maintenance man to send up at that time, she couldn't move us and all she could do was refund me, wasn't the best customer service. I just checked back on the site and today would have been our check out date other than that the cabin is available! Obviously they don't care or that cabin should be immediately shown booked and the situation handled ASAP!

Way to ruin a vacation! My family book the absolutely bearable cabin during the month of September. My mother was bitten over five times. once on her forehead and the rest on her arm, we called the office, they couldn't move us into another cabin so they had to refund us and we spent the rest of the trip in a hotel. My father bagged the bed bugs and took them to the front office. Long story short, they knew that cabin was infested with bed bugs, shame on them for allowing people to continue to stay there.
