I stayed at the Laquita last night 11/15/16.My roommate stays there very frequently probably about 3-4 days a week.Early this morning she found bed bugs in her bedroom "at our private residence"We assumed that it came from the Laquita because that's the only place either one of us has stayed other then out home.I then looked in the room I was in at the time and and found a bedbug cover on the mattress.I took the cover off and found a bunch of dead bedbugs and blood on the mattress. I then proceeded to take pics so I could show the manager my findings. I spoke with the hotel clerk Danielle who then went to get the manager. When I informed him of the situation he got very defensive I showed him the pictures and he denied them being bedbugs. I asked him to walk with me to my room so I could show him. Once we got up there and I showed him at first he tried to deny them being bedbugs. I informed him I knew what they looked like because I had them in my home two years ago and had to hire a exterminator.He then proceeded to tell me that I must have brought them from my home after he distinctively said they weren't bedbugs. My situation happened two years ago and was resolved immediately after from a professional exterminator. He was very nasty and defensive and asked me to leave the premises and told me that I was never allowed to stay in that hotel again. Obviously that is not a threat because I would have no intentions to stay there again!!He was extremely rude and completely denied the situation even though he saw it himself and I took plenty of pictures.I have since contacted my local Heath and sanitation office and an attorney as well.
