Felix Ramos, The Asst. GM was one of the most unprofessional managers I have ever met. Not only am I appalled at the disregard for the health and safety of the matter, but even more appalled at how the situation was handled. I had an encounter with Bed Bugs in room 304, in which in the same week, the Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, Michigan location was placing people in the same room within 24-48 hours of me checking out without even one follow up to my issue. I am highly concerned that this location has only been open for 3 months, and this is the service and issues that are at hand. Which are very serious, both from a service standpoint and a health and safety, personal injury standpoint. When calling the front desk about the bug bites that I woke up to at 2am, they advised that I stay in the room. The next day when I tried to file an incident report, they gave me a hard time to do it. I kept the bed bugs that I got bit by, but they still refused to take responsibility. Again, within 24-48 hours they had people stay in the same room. I still have yet to hear back from management regarding this terrible matter. I will continue to seek advice and review options until this has been closed. Someone else the same day noted they had the same issue, along with finding a used condom on their night stand when they arrived to their room. Unacceptable.
