My friend and I received a room and as it was unclean we requested the sheets of the bed be changed. This was done no problem. However, as we were about to fall asleep my Friend's Ankle area became increasingly itchy and after checking it before she scratched herself raw, we both spotted a bed bug. I know it was because I have personally dealt with them when I lived back in new York and still have the scars from the ceaseless scratching from bites. Long story short, although there is supposed to be a night office open between midnight and 8am, nobody was available to come to our aid despite many phone calls and visits to the office. We wrote a note and when we did go to leave it for the next person to find, we were accused of bringing the bugs here ourselves. We were not offered a new room, or even treated like a guest who had paid $87 cash for an unclean and cheap motel room. Needless to say we have both picture and video evidence that we are bringing to the owner first thing in the morning with the demand of a full refund and an Apology.
