I was lying on the bed watching tv a couple of hours after heading back to my room from a conference. I felt something crawling on my skin and to my surprise I noticed small bugs all over me. I've recently heard about a bed bug outbreak in the city and therefore googled what bed bugs look like. Pictures confirmed my worst fear. I asked the receptionist to give me another room but he proposed at first that I should stay in the room but sleep on the other bed ( 2 beds bedroom). I refused and asked to be moved to another room. The receptionist said that the hotel was fully booked and that i had to find another hotel at 11h30 pm!! After refusing his second offer, he miraculously found an available room in the same hotel. the next morning I woke up To several bug bites on my body. Later that day I developed a severe allergy which made me miss a big part of the conference i had traveled from st louis to attend. after trying to reach the manager several times, he charged for the room, but i ask that my laundry fees be reimbursed to which he agreed.
