Upon moving into the apartment, I discovered several different types of dead bugs all along the walls, between the baseboards and the new carpet. I cleaned these out and trimmed the large strings of plastic that were hanging out of the carpet throughout the entire unit. I moved in a brand new mattress, only to throw it, along with a few very expensive rugs, away. Thousands of dollars gone. My body was covered in bites. The bed, the bedding, the rugs, all had become completely infested. They were littered in the carpet. In the walls. I saved one before I went to spraying and bombing. Little effect. I went to the office for help. They sent their exterminator. Of course, they had to belittle me and treat me in a completely disrespectful matter first, actually yelling at me, that I had brought them in. I have never in my life had this problem. I had never even seen a bedbug before. My old roommates were still living peacefully in the bedbug free house I had left them in. The exterminator had a small spray bottle and sprayed the four corners of the bedroom only. Useless. A real pest control company told me to move. They said the walls are infested and no matter how many times i might manage to kill the bugs, they will always return and it will continue to get worse each time. It's a cute complex. It looks great, nice patios, so enticing. But you won't be the only resident in your apartment. Oh, and just to throw it out there, they have a very bad rat problem as well. I just wish they would go through and actually, PROFESSIONALLY treat all units together. It's such a shame.
