Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

There have been multiple reports and bed bug treatments performed on different units within the past 6-8 months. Even though tenants inform management of the problem, adjacent units are never rechecked. As a result, bed bugs are continually found in more units. It does not take a genius to conclude that the bed bugs are spreading throughout the complex and the redundant chemical treatment is making the problem worse. In addition, even though adjacent tenants are not provided with subsequent inspections, if bed bugs are found or reported we are not given the option to choose which pest control service we would prefer to hire...we are only allowed one (which has an associated $1000 cost).
