Bed bugs were positively identified by Orka Pest Control in the room I was staying in. I woke up covered in a few red bumps the first night and requested the front desk change my sheets. When I returned later that day the sheets were not changed. I was exhausted and went to bed. The next morning I woke up covered in bumps and an intense burning itch all over my body. I called the front desk at 05:00 and asked them to change my sheets. When I returned later that day, the sheets were not changed. I walked to the front, asked them to change the sheets, and showed them the bites. They called maintenance to change the sheets and Orka Pest Control to check the room. I returned to my room to eat lunch. In the middle of eating lunch, the maintenance lady arrives to remove the sheets, then the Orka Pest Control representative arrives to check the room. Despite the sheets being removed, there were so many bed bugs, the Orka Pest Control representative found them in less than five minutes of his arrival. There was a bed bug crawling on top of the plastic tote for the dishes too. I was rushed out of my room. They changed my room assignment, vacuumed every fabric item I had that could not be washed (eg suitcase, shoes), gave me quarters to clean all my clothes, and I packed all my stuff and moved to another room. This took about 6 hours of moving, running to the front desk for garbage bags and quarters, and laundry before I was able to sit down and finish my lunch. Everyone was cooperative until they left and it was only the evening front desk person. She was rude. She insisted I brought the bed bugs to the hotel and refused to provide me with quarters for my laundry as stated by the manager. She refused to get in contact with the hotel manager for me, but contacted the hotel manager for herself in front of me. They refused to give a full refund and wanted the money for the two nights of bed bug biting. This is the statement of the hotel staff at this hotel as well as their corporation and their insurance company. Bed bugs is an additional service charge at Extended-Stay America. Prostitute and pets are welcomed on the property with a proper deposit.

On Wednesday 08/28/19 I was bitten by bed bugs at this Hotel at 3:20am. I have picky and videos of the incident and made it aware to the front desk after hours. They offered to move me to another room but I refused due to not being able to get back to my belongings, gather evidence, and I also did not want to wake up my children because they were asleep and had school this morning. I basically sat up all night Nd checked the beds every 10 minutes due to paranoia and restlessness.
