Bedbugs found in apartment suddenly, inspection was made by landlords while we were away. Came back from vacation and they were still present, landlord refuses to treat again and has threatened charging us residents. Management provided pesticides for us to spray ourselves but after a treatment bedbugs are still present. Avoid at all costs!

We moved into a furnished apartment at the Fairway. Within a week we started to notice bites that resembled bed bug bites. We investigated ourselves and found 2 LIVE ADULT bed bugs and multiple castings. We called the landlord immediately who got an exterminator to come search the apartment the following day. The exterminator confirmed that what we found were bed bugs; however, he could not find any other traces himself. The landlord accused us of bringing in 2 adult live bed bugs along with the castings after being there less than a week. The landlord called us dramatic and told us we didn\'t need to treat because we had carried in 2 adult bed bugs and there were no others. We pleaded with the exterminator and WE paid for the apartment to be sprayed. He sprayed and we meticulously washed and dried all our belongings and threw out all our bedding and non washable items. Two weeks after spraying, the exterminator returned to inspect the apartment and reported no further signs of infestation. Unfortunately, he was wrong. We further inspected the apartment and found 2 partially alive adult bed bugs in the floorboards; indicating they had been there before our arrival. We called the exterminator and he came back and sprayed a SECOND time. However, we couldn\'t take it any longer. We had been sleeping on the couch and keeping ALL of our clothes and belongings in our car for over a month at that point. The 2 partially alive bed bugs after the initial spraying was the final straw. We couldn\'t stay.
