Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My 7 year old son slept on the hide a bed on Thursday night June 11th, 2015. The next morning he was covered in bed bug bites - head to toe. Hotel denied it was the case. But they have had so many outbreaks they have their own staff and heat equipment to treat bed bugs.

Stayed at Glacier Canyon Lodge first weekend in January 2017. I only had 4 bites but felt sick for over a week. The room was a little dirty upon inspection, but everyone wanted to stay. This hotel, especially their pool water seems very unsanitary. I didn't realize I had bites until the next day when I couldn't stop itching! We spent 4 hours stripping our bedroom at home and putting it all back together to make sure we didn't bring any home! We reported it to management and of course they said they inspected the room and didn't find any. There are several complaints about the Glacier Canyon wing! Stay away!

11/1/2022 Woke up in the morning to a bed bug on the bed next to the one I was sleeping on. I quick put it in a cup and covered it to show management and they confirmed it was a bed bug and said they checked the room and didn’t see any others in the room.
