Checked in to hotel on 8/29. Returned to room after dinner. Bed bugs came up from mayrwsses on both beds at about 10pm. Night clerk moved us to room 415. Still no contact from management at 9:15 this morning. Not coming back here.

I checked in to room 219 on June 3, 2018. Around 2:30 a.m. that morning my sister went to the bathroom and saw what she believed to be a bed bug. She woke me up and when I lifted my head I saw one crawling on my pillow. I went to the front desk and requested a new room on a different floor then left to go get us trash bags, disinfectants, new clothes, etc. Between leaving to buy the supplies and coming back my sister saw 4 more (totaling 6) in our room. We even trapped one under a cup and took pictures. We didn't see any in our new room (room 125 I believe). While the manager on duty that morning did not charge us for the room, no one had even notified the general manager or asked that he show up. At 10 a.m. he still was not there when we had to leave. After reaching out to them on Twitter their HR department said "no bed bugs were found" (again, trapped one under a cup, took pictures, and left it there) but "SURELY" they had taken the appropriate measures to clean the room. Surely means it has not been confirmed. I went through Yelp and saw someone had a similar experience a year ago so clearly this is not being handled appropriately as it is a recurring issue. I will be reporting them to all the appropriate departments to ensure no one else runs into this problem again.
