Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

November 4th around 10pm BEDBUGS. I was given a room, #108, with bedbugs. When the bug crawled on me I flicked it off. Immediately I inspected the bed and found dead bedbugs. I informed management and was met with aggression and horrible attitudes as if it was my fault they had bedbugs. I was offered another room that was directly next door, #107. This tactic of reassigning the room next door to a bug infested room is against the law but management didn't care. However I inspected this room and found blood on the lamp shade and bedbug activity. I refused the room and requested a refund. Once again I was handled with aggression. Called the health department and they found bedbug carcasses and had to inform Royal Inn regarding state laws.
