5/5/17 8:00 am I woke up and got ready for an early training. I realized there was something on the white sheets. I picked it up and realized it was a bed bug. I'm a social worker so I've been trained on how to identify them. I called the front desk immediately. They sent up a housekeeper to check it and she confirmed that's what it was. She gave me garbage bags to place my items in to prevent spreading them. They were nice about it but also didn't seem surprised despite the fact they denied that it's a problem there. They were quick to comp the room. I plan on washing writhing in hot water and I'm hoping I don't take anything home with me. Please be careful if planning to stay here.

I have found a bed bug in my hotel room both times I stayed there. The first time 11/2019, I disposed of it so I didn't have proof but it looked like the pictures I saw of what bedbugs look like. The second time 07/01/2020, I put it in a cup and showed it to the manager at the desk. He had somebody (I can't recall the job position, but he came there and knew about that stuff) look at it and confirmed it was a bedbug. I washed everything of mine as instructed and switched rooms. I ended up checking out that same day because I didn't feel comfortable staying there anymore, with this being the second time. These are the only times I've ever seen a bedbug in my life, and they happen to be at the same hotel.
