We found one big bed bug crawling over one of our pillows even before we had settled in bed. We tried contacting the front desk but nobody was available to talk to us. Horrible! Would never recommend anyone to stay here!

BED BUGS! Beware! There were signs that this hotel is HORRIBLE! Initially booked this hotel for 3 nights. When we checked into the room, it was messy and there was a rip in the covers and the beds looked messy. Management gave us another room but that second room was also filthy. We wanted a refund so we can go somewhere else. Management refused to refund and gave us another room for the third time. Bedsheets were dirty and requested the bed sheets to be changed. Found bed bugs crawling where my baby and five year old was sleeping around 1:30am. Spots of blood appear when the bugs were squished. Called front desk, no one answered. Went to the front desk, no one was there and saw a sign that the office was closed and will open in the morning. We git bit by the bed bugd. Will never stay here again.

We stayed at Mammoth Lakes Travel Lodge from December 20 to December 23, 2016, and my son and I have bug bits all over our legs and arms. I have taken pictures of the bed bugs on my legs.

Checked in 12/26/16. Next AM saw a bug on bed, then 2. Took pic. Manager, "B.J." denied bed bugs were present. Accused me of not reporting in a timely manner. Accused me of downloading a pic of bed Bug from internet (despite the fact that hotel bedding was in pic with specific bleach stain) Told me bug in my pic was not a bed bug. That he was experienced in hotel management and that it was not a bed bug. Shook my sheets, bright lights on - said no bugs. Did not look under bed spring or in crevices. Refused refund. Kids and I have bites. We left.

After an 8hr sleep, I woke up with a total of 13 bites on face, ear, arms, legs, and torso. Felt something crawling on me in the middle of the night, but no visual confirmation. Night of 1/7/17. Room 107.

We stayed at the Travelodge Mammoth Lakes February 2-5, 2017. I got a few bites on my arm after the first night and didn't think much of it. I thought it was something outside or in my snow clothes I hadn't worn in a while. Next night I got even more bites and suspected bed bugs. We checked the room and found droppings, casings, stains on the sheets and even found and caught a bug. We brought it to the front desks attention and were told that they didn't have bed bugs and the place had been serviced 3 days ago by Terminix and it must have just appeared. When I told them about the reports I saw online they said those people were lying. I asked to speak to the manager and he was not available. I was finally able to speak to him on the phone when the front desk lady called him. After over 50 min on the phone he finally agreed to give us a refund and have it put it in writing. He said he would call me the following day because he needed to follow procedure and have Terminix come inspect and that he could process everything then. When I finally spoke to him the next day he said the guy from Terminix was there and didn't find anything and he could give me one night refund. I asked to speak to the Terminix guy and get a copy of the report and he refused. I told him I would call and get the information from Terminix. He said I could do whatever I wanted and that he would only give me one night refund. I told him this was not acceptable and we went back and forth for a while him calling me a liar and me telling him that was unacceptable and then he hung up on me. I ended up calling Terminix and they said the only information they had for Travelodge Mammoth Lakes was an evaluation and a quote from July 20, 2016 with no records of any services ever completed at this location. I will be following up with Travelodge, Mono Health Department etc.

Discovered bud bug bites on shoulders, arms, back, and face this morn. I had 10-15 bites, my roommate had none. 3/20/16 sounds like management knows, but denies the problem. I'll be contacting them tomorrow.

Our son's ski team stayed at this hotel 03.26.17 - 03.31.17 He had seen on Trip Advisor that there had been a report of bed bugs. The coach asked the management if this was true and he was told it was isolated to one room (123). That wasn't true and our son has bite marks across his stomach and shoulders. The management has been rude and dismissive about the fact that the hotel has a bed bug infestation.

Stayed in room 102 on 2/28/18 and checked out early. After getting 18 bites on my arms, abdomen, and neck we checked the mattress and found a bed bug in the seams. The mattress has holes in the corners and only one thin sheet to protect you from what's hiding beneath. We complained to the front desk and he REFUSED TO GIVE US A REFUND for the night we already stayed. He accused us of buying bed bugs on the internet and planting them in the hotel to get a refund. In addition to dismissing our claims that there are bed bugs (after showing him the bug we found), he said what we found wasn't a bed bug, it wasn't his problem, he would not contact the owner or management, they hadn't had any complaints in the last 3 months, and then told us to leave immediately.
