03/16-17/2016 Checked in afternoon of 3/16...during SXSW in Austin TX....woke up next morning with a number of small red spots on lower legs only, not raised or itchy....i thought maybe allergic reaction to foods (?)...woke up next day with far more numerous spots on legs, and now itchy...bed bugs! i have never seen or experienced bed bug bites! checked out immediately and requested refund from general manager....GM questioned me about my activities and if i had been out in grass or outside like she did not believe i had been bitten by bed bugs in their hotel...GM stated they would send housekeeping to inspect linens in my room to confirm my story.... NEVER again will i stay at Extended Stay America Hotels...
