Tuesday, October 30, 2018, approximately around 7am. I woke up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, and as I walked back to the bed (where I DID sleep the entire night), I saw something on the side of the mattress just about to crawl under the fitted sheet. I kneeled to get a closer look and realized that it was a bed bug. I had never actually seen one before, but instantly knew and freaked out. Our company reserved a lot of rooms at this hotel, and so I immediately notified via text the other employees to check their rooms also. I went downstairs to the front desk and the woman behind the desk walked up, I believe she was a manager. I asked her if she had any large trash bags for me to put my luggage in, and she started to grab them for me without asking what I needed them for, and I of course felt obligated to tell her that I found bedbugs in my room. She immediately apologized, but asked if I was sure that this is what it was. I asked if she had ever seen them before and knew what they looked like, because I took a picture of it and could easily show her. I showed her the picture and she agreed that is what it was, and asked what room number I was in. I told her that at that point I just wanted to get the bags so that I could put all of my stuff in them to transport them to my car and didn't want it spreading to my vehicle while traveling. She said she would be reimbursing the company for my room, but I am not sure if this was done as it is a large corporate business. Many, many other employees had issues with their rooms also, from bugs in the sinks (ants of some kind?) to toilets running, clogged shower drains, blood stains in the sheets, broken/damaged buttons on the elevators, Jacuzzi out of service, missing shower curtains, the list goes on....
