My husband and I stayed at your Renton Larkspur Landing Hotel on Dec 24. It started out just fine until that evening. Apparently, someone was cooking in one of the rooms and set off the fire alarm. I truly understand and appreciate the concern for safety, and the fire evacuation was not my issue. They moved us to the first floor because I had a horrible time getting down the stairs to the lobby. I have bad knees. When I checked in I told the front desk that when she put us on the third floor. They moved us from 337 to room 105 but the room they moved us to had a dog in the room next door that barked all night long. Then at about 7:30 am we get a call from the front desk asking if we had called the front desk. NO! I was sound asleep. I did not appreciate that seeing I had just fallen asleep. We got up and went to have breakfast and all they had was Quaker Oatmeal and muffins, no COFFEE. This is what your website advertises (fresh, seasonal fruits, cereals, delicious pastries, bagels and English muffins, regular and light yogurts, waffles, delectable cheeses, and more.) None of that was there. We went back to our room and I was sitting in the overstuffed chair and a bed bug crawled on me. Ok, now I am freaked out, Have not gotten a good night sleep it is a holiday weekend we will be hard pressed to find a restaurant open and now I have bugs crawling on me. Went to the front desk and all I got was I'm sorry. We drove 5 miles away to a Denny's by the airport to have a meal and low and behold there was another family from the hotel at the same Denny's because they at least expected more than Oatmeal and muffins. I stay in a hotel and expect to get what is advertised on the website, and expect to stay in a hotel that does not have bugs. When we checked out there was one front desk person, may have been an onsite manager and another lady at the front desk. All we got was I'm sorry. I would have been mortified if I was working the front desk and someone would have told me that you had bed bugs in your room. I would really like a refund for my stay.
