5/27/2022 We discovered the bedbugs at around 11:30 pm. Babies were already asleep and we were about to sleep when I saw one in the comforter fold. We had 2 queens, and one of the mattresses had a bed bug cover -so we were initially skeptical. We also saw little black stains on the covers. We took pictures and videos and told the staff. We were moved to another room - room 330. It was 1am and we very carefully moved our stuff reducing any chances of bringing any bedbugs with us to the other room. We put our little baby in the stroller and our 1 year old In the crib and wheeled him down to the other room. The next morning I saw a bed bug right next to my breast pump on the bed, all filled with blood… we spent all day disinfecting, washing clothes and soaping toys and stuff. We packed everything in big trash bags and planned on heading home without going to sea world. We got a full refund from seaworld (because we bought a hotel package from their website). The front desk told us we needed to be out of the room by 3pm (when we had already booked the room for another 2 nights) or they will charge us a night. They had seemed to have already found another customer without dealing with the bedbug issue? We finally left our holiday by 4:30pm.
