Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

September 2, 2023 It is now 9:25 am. At 6 am I woke up to use the bathroom, when I came back I saw a bedbug crawling around on the sheets. (bedside lamp was on) I immediately packed up and went down to the front desk. The staff was sympathetic and wrote a note on a post-it for the manager. The staff member told me that they could not do refunds, but that the manager could do it when they came in. They said it would likely not be until Monday, but I as suspecting with the 3 day weekend, it might not be until Tuesday. The wrote the issue and my room number on a post-it note and stuck it on the back side of the counter. I asked if they could also include my name, just in case, so they added a second post-it with my name.
