Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Found a Male bed bug crawling on top of my white comforter in my room at 3 AM on February 4. I put the bug in a glass and went down to the front desk to show the staffers. They gave me another room. They didn't seem to be too affected by it

July 8, 2017 morning. Awoke with itchy bites on neck. Checked out and drove home a few hours. A row of twenty itching welts appeared on my neck as the day went on. Called front desk the night of 7/8/17. Referred to call manager after 7am 7/9/17. I advised desk clerk to have maintenance and housekeeping do something right away and if anyone had occupied room 202 to get them out of there immediately. No idea if any action was taken at all.

I was staying at this hotel for a business trip on 2/28/19. I woke up to find a crushed bed bug and blood stains on the mattress. I have no idea if the blood was my own or not. I examined the room carefully, but found no other signs under the mattress, along baseboards, etc. The front desk was sympathetic and offered to move me and have the room inspected.
