Checked in 6/26/17. We have stayed here a few times in the past with no problems. I ALWAYS check for bed bugs. I did make the mistake of putting the belongings that were in my arms on the bed prior to inspecting. The first thing I noticed the mattress was in an encasement. So I thought either there are bed bugs here or they have these encasements on all the mattresses. I then looked at the bedskirt and saw the stains of the bed bug excrement and then I looked in the crease of the bedskirt and saw multiple bed bugs!! I looked in the other corner and saw the same thing. I then looked on the other bed and this mattress was also encased and also had the fecal stains and multiple bed bugs in the creases of the bedskirt. I called the front desk and within minutes the manager showed up with another guy. They took one look and was on the phone with an exterminator. They said the room would be sprayed and I'm thinking to myself spraying isn't going to kill these things and some unsuspecting soul is going to be sleeping in this room tonight! They did offer to put the things I had placed on the bed in the dryer, which I took them up on. The manager was pleasant and apologized profusely. Thankfully it was caught early and none of our belongings were infested. They did move us to room 713, which I thoroughly inspected before even bringing my belongings into the room. This room was clean. I checked it all the time and we never woke up with any bites. We really like this hotel, but unfortunately we won't be back. I understand this issue isn't about cleanliness and there is no way a hotel can control what people bring in. Management did "upgrade" us to a king room/jacuzzi suite but with me, my husband, and a 7 year old in a king bed it got a little cramped and I did not want to use the pull out sofa. ALWAYS check your hotel room even if you are at a 5 star hotel!!

We arrived last week on 9/8/17 we stayed the first night and we did not notice anything till that morning when i actually say one of the bed bugs on the bed and noticed i had a few bites on my legs. luckily we caught the one we had found and me and my husband went downstairs and the manger John had the audacity to say we brought them in ourselves. (We are very clean people) anyways, we demanded a full refund which we paid in cash and we paid about $600 for a 5 night stay and after we got our money we went to a much better hotel. Luckily we got to the music road late and we did not bring our luggage in that night so we did not have to was ALL of our clothing right away. Never will i ever stay it this place again. not only because of the bugs but also because of the manger he was an upright and total jerk he did not even know how to refund the money had to ask for help. how he is manger i have no clue. Worst place i have ever stayed.
