Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Take the first left at the top of the hill next to Butterfield Steakhouse. ·From: The North. Traveling on Highway 89, take first Page exit. Turning left onto Lake Powell Boulevard, take the first left at the top of the hill Rimview Drive (Butterfield Steakhouse). ·From: The East. Take a right at first traffic light off Highway 98 onto Coppermine Rd., left at Lake Powell Boulevard. Pass three stop lights, last street on left before heading downhill (Rimview Drive).

Our family stayed in two rooms (teens in one, parents in other - rooms were next to one another but adjoining door did not open). Stay was 10/5/2022. The room appeared clean. Morning of 10/6/2022, we saw a bed bug on the pillow in parents' room. Mom got bites (3-6). Son (in different room) got a lot of bites - maybe 15. Mom's bed had dark dots on sheets. I told the front desk before we left - they just said "oh my". I reported the incident upon returning home via corporate customer service. Have not heard back yet, but it has not been long. FYI - the hotel at this address is actually named "Best Western View of Lake Powell".

Aug 9, 2023, am We found a bed bug on a pillow. While the hotel staff was preparing another room, we found three more bed bugs. Also, we found a carcass of bed bug in another room. Finally, the staff arranged another hotel for us and we transferred to that hotel.
