Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Booked a room through hopper app at super 8 Wyndham in Newburgh New York 1/6. Took showers and went to bed around 9pm. Around 12:30 am we woke up itching and burning, lifted the covers and saw a bug crawling. We jumped out of bed, and began to find about three different bed bugs. As we looked around the room, we then saw dirty floors as well as what looked like black mold. We reported to front desk immediately about the bed bugs and were accommodated with a new room. Then in the new room still we were itching and also there was no heat. The bites caused an allergic reaction, extreme itchiness and blisters which looked like hives began to form. The pictures of the bedbugs, bug bites and mold were all documented by taking pictures. The bites were on arms, back, neck, face and fingers.
