We were only to stay in this inn while we moved to our next house. Upon arrival we were put in room 217, it was very dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Anyways we slept here for 5 nights, 09/29-10/04/2017, the morning of the 4th night my girlfriend noticed she had huge red marks on her forehead in 2 spots and 3 in different spots on her arm. We were confused as to what they were at first, then we started looking into it and suggestions were bed bugs. We started checking the room and mattress but couldn't see anything, after looking a little harder we noticed a zipper on the mattress. Once we unzipped the mattress cover (that is actually used to kill bedbugs on a mattress and we were not notified of this at all), there they were. Dark spots on the corners, yellow eggshell casings, dozens of sheds, and a few actual bedbugs ran further into the matress. I quickly zipped it back up, packed all of our possessions and loaded them into our car. I went directly into the office and told them that we saw bed bugs, had taken pictures of them and packed our stuff to leave. I asked her to refund that night and the night after as I already payed for them but would refuse to stay there. She told me that I need to wait and talk to the manager in the morning. The next morning I received an email from booking.com stating that the manager needed to speak with me. I called the number and told him who I was, he told me he checked the room and that there were no bedbugs so he wouldn't give me my money back unless I went there and showed him the bedbugs. I told him that I had pictures of everything including the bed bugs and hung up as there was no need to argue I had taken all of the steps to verify that they were bed bugs. I went to the hotel after work and as soon as I walked in I showed him the pictures, he proceeded to argue "why did your girlfriend get bit and not you?" But also stated that he had already refunded me. If you do research you can find that the mattress cover they were using was made to help kill an infestation of bedbugs, he knowingly booked us into this room and let us sleep on a nest of them for multiple nights. Also bed bug bites don't show up on everyone that is why I wasn't showing bites. If you look into the google reviews someone also reported this to google that they were trying to fight off an infestation in 2 of the rooms in the 2nd floor. I would never ever ever go here again, they KNOW that they have bed bugs but they continue to rent out rooms. It needs to be reported and as soon as I can I am contacting the health department! Beware of regency inn!

My husband and I went to the regency on Friday December 1,2017, a friend of ours actually paid for the room on his credit card, but the name on the room was my husband David ray sward date of birth 7/24/1979. We were in the room for a couple hours an around 10:30 pm is when David jumped up from the bed an yelled an said there's fricken bugs, I'm going to go down an get management, I jumped up as well an started looking around on bed I was actually under the blankets and almost asleep when this occurred, when I started looking I suddenly seen two bugs for sure I could verify, so I grabbed my pillow that I was just laying on an that I just seen two bugs crawling on an I started to move to the door the two bugs were moving so fast an I was afraid I was going to loose them cuz I wanted to make sure management seen, my husband an management came to the room I handed my pillow to my husband the manager Manish Bhakta was quite rude saying he doubted that's what it was an David showed him, so then at that time MR. Bhakta said we could move upstairs to room 210 for the night which we didn't know what to do, but we stayed, being uncomfortable, I went to bed around 1:00am an woke up around 8 am not feeling very well at all I felt nauseous an couldn't lift my head for probably two hours, as I got up to get ready for the day and to check out I noticed smaller reddish bumps that sorta looked like hives due to stress or something your body might not like, so at first I didn't put two and two together, through out the day I started getting bigger welts that were very painful an started to itch as well as a fever they continue to spread, through the next night which was 12/2/17 I continue to get more welts an they get bigger and are very painful, on 12/3/17 I had to go to the emergency room I was in so much pain, I was seen an treated an put on medication.
