Last day my youngest son complained about itching and showed marks on his buttock region and upon leaving I myself have bites on my wrist. When we got home my wife realized she had bites all down her side. We payed $700 for these rooms and should not have to worry about stuff like that,

I found a bed bug around midnight on our second night. The hotel moved us to a new room and confirmed bed bugs. My daughter has bites on both legs, arms, back, stomach, and face.

This bed bug incident happened on Sunday morning 1/28/18 around1 in the morn awoke to my index finger swelling red itching did not know what it was so eventually went back to sleep. Awoke again around 6:30 it was worse I got up looking to see what was going on began looking in the bed and found 1 bed bug and 3 additional droppings. I called the front desk immediately to be told there was no manager on duty but they would be in at 7 and would contact me then. I waited until 7:30 and no one had called or come to my room. I then called the front desk again and received quite the run around to also find out that the so called manager was a shift supervisor who had passed the buck to someone who would be in at 8:00. This went from bad to worse regarding any customer service at all. With the history this facility has with bed bugs and to have no corrective/protective measures present such as bed bug mattress/box spring covers, climb ups etc is evident they certainly do not take this serious. I on the way home found another bite on my neck and 1 on my leg. The 8:00 aquatic supervisor did contact me was polite but still was unable to do anything and had to pass the buck onto the housekeeping supervisor that would not be in until 9:00. They said they "weren't sure" if the general manager would be in or not. INSANE!!!! I left and am awaiting further contact from them regarding follow up on this and compensation of some manner. SAD SAD Situation. I went there fully aware they have had multiple accounts of this but I also fully understand the bed bug situation in our country as I have over 30 years in the pest control industry. I explained I was not nearly as upset with that as I am regarding their total disregard and lack of responsibility and or customer service. Shame on them. I highly suggest to not visit this establishment.

My family of 5 stayed in room 3052 at Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte on September 27, 28 and 29th, 2019. We questioned staff about our room and they vacuumed up white powder on headboard and along edges of the master bedroom. The housekeeping said everything was fine, no bed bugs. On Sunday when we got home I was covered in bites. I did take pictures of room 3052 of things that concerned me. I did the research with my pictures and indeed the room was having a bed bug problem. When we returned home I called and it took 3 days for a manager to call me. Megan refunded my trip. They are supposed to get a past exterminator for us through their 3rd party insurance because we now have a bed bug issue at our home from our trip to Great Wolf Lodge. So far haven't heard from anyone to help with that. I can send pictures if you need me too.

My family of 4 stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge on January 1st-2nd, 2023. During our stay I did not notice anything wrong, but I also did not check the mattresses/bedframes/etc. prior to sleeping in the room. Prior to this situation, I had been pretty blissfully unaware about bed bugs. As we were driving home on the 2nd I noticed some itchy spots on my skin, but initially thought they were dry skin reactions from the cold weather, heating, and all the chlorine as I have fairly sensitive skin. The following morning I realized they were in fast bug bites, and were extremely itchy and swollen. I began googling as it seemed odd to have bug bites after being inside, and realized quickly they were the tell tale bed bug patterns. I have two on my neck, 3 on my arm/wrist area, and 2 on my hand near my wrist. I called GWL and inquired about the room, and they stated they would have housekeeping inspect the room, and then even if no trace was found, they would have a third party pest control come out and inspect the room. I didn't hear back by evening so I called, and then was informed that Housekeeping did in fact found evidence of bed bugs pretty quickly (I have no insight into exactly what they saw, if it was on both beds, one bed, couch, etc. and I really wish I had this information). They did refund my room which I'm appreciative of. However I am getting frustrated at the wait now to get in touch with anyone for claims moving forward. I am extremely terrified that we brought them into our home, as we were not as cautious as we should have been with our luggage upon return since we had no idea of the bedbug situation at that point. I understand that this can happen at any hotel. I was at first very happy with the customer service provided for me, but am now getting very frustrated at the length of time I have been waiting for the next steps here.

1/21/2023 We stayed in one of the suites with a queen, bunk beds, pull out couch and a single. 4 Small roaches in the bathroom and a live bed bug were found on one of the single beds in the middle of the night. Staff was notified of the findings and confirmed after inspection once finding several dead bedbugs in one of the bunk beds. Despite the issue the staff was extremely kind, compassionate and handled the situation appropriately.
