Bedbug Reviews

Ms. Raguza; I wish to report a hotel I stayed at, which was infested with bedbugs. I checked-in June 7, 2015, and my room 231 had bed bugs. Of course, only found out the next morning when my wife had bite marks all over her. I went to the front office to report this, and the general manager, adamantly denied having any bed bugs. She gave me a Raid bug spray to "try out". I stayed another night in the same room and the problem persisted. The General Mgr offered to switch rooms, but when I asked her what the guarantee was if the other room didn't have any bedbugs. Clearly, she didn't have a response. After 2 nights in room 231(with bedbugs), the management switched my room to another room. This room didn't have any bedbugs. Upon checkout, I asked refund for the first two nights because I stayed in the bedbugs infested room. The General mgr, denied me the refund. She said has contacted an independent agency to inspect the room, and only upon their reports will she decide to issue refund. I said that it was the hotel's problem for not inspecting the room before giving it to me. She replies by saying, "No one in this industry inspects room before renting them out." I wondered to myself that how can someone in the customer service business have such mentality. Please do something about this room because now I'm paranoid about infesting my home with potential bedbugs that could have transferred in to my personal belongings.
