Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We stopped here on our way further south for a night stay. My son got bit but didn't notice till we got to the next location. We called the hotel and alerted them. We stayed April 30th. They called back on may 3rd and told us they in fact did find some bedbugs on the further bed. (The location my son slept) and a few on the other bed. My husband had 3 bites. They refunded us the money and gave us more hotel points. For future stays. Luckily I think we left them there. And took further precautions from bringing them with us. Staff where knowledgeable on the issue as well.
