1. Checked into the hotel on Monday night (Feb 3rd) didn't notice anything the first nights. Woke up at 4am on February 5th, 2020 to bugs crawling on me. Searched the bed and found numerous bugs. Captured a couple in a plastic cup to show the front desk staff. 2. Tried calling front desk, got no answer until about 5:30 am. 3. Was told by the clerk they could change our room (who wants another room when I've just slept with these bugs??) Was told that was the only option until the manager arrives at 9am. Husband spoke to manager at 9am. Manager and her assistant actually scooped up some bugs during their inspection of the room, however, informed us that they would not refund our charges until they do their due diligence and have an exterminator confirm they are actually bed bugs (although a quick google search confirmed it for us!) We informed we wanted to check out and expected not to be charged for our stay. They ended up charging us for the 2 nights we stayed. We booked another room down the road and left our personal pillows and contaminated clothing in the infested room. I'm so freaked out that I'm going to bring these things home with me. Was not happy at all the way management handled the situation.
