Stayed at Marriott's Anaheim suites on 10/10-10/12/19. My youngest daughter woke up with red bites after first night. We didn't see bugs of any kind. We didn't know what they were. Second night, she was going to sleep and she moved the pillow, there was a bug that looked like a small roach.we killed it. Looked around didn't see anymore. She woke up in the morning with a bunch of small bugs on the bed and bedspread. Other daughter in the adjacent bed got up and the bed also had bugs on the bed. I called front desk immediately and notified them. Told housekeepers in the hallway too. We wipe all of our suitcases, took showers and put all our clothes in plastic bags . Spoke to the manager about it. She said she was calling pest control right away. Went to laundromat a block from hotel and washed all of our clothes with hot water and dry them on high heat. Received a call from manager that po est control confirmed they were bed bugs . She mentioned the room had been sprayed few days before we arrived, but apparently needed to be sprayed again. Offered another room for the remainder of our stay,but I declined. Only wanted to refund one day stay,but ended up refunding me both days. My other daughter ended up showing signs of multiple bites after a few days of arriving home. She is dealing with possibly having brought the bugs home.
