Arrived Friday night 12/10/21, around 9-10 pm at night. Checked in at that time, when I opened the room smelled dirty. Took a shower and the bathtub was clogged up with something. Then, the next morning woke up to a bed bug in my bed where I slept the whole night. Then, I checked the side of the mattress it was infested with it as well. Also, had noticed some bumps in my arms which I didn’t make a big deal about it then till later in a few hours when it started getting swollen and red. This happened around 6:39 am to be exact. Immediately we left to report this in the office, she didn’t ask for proof or anything. I feel like they knew this was a problem before. Well, she gave my boyfriend the option of a refund or changing to another room. Since we had booked for two nights for $177 in total we decided it was not worth staying there. Besides, we didn’t sleep good because the bed was broken and the pillows had a bad smell to them. We got our money back. That afternoon/evening my bed bug bites had gotten swollen and red. Today, is Wednesday Dec. 15, 2021 and I still have them. Less swollen but they have a red yellowish tone. We called the hotel Monday evening Dec 13th around 6:55 pm and the lady who picked up put us on hold right away after we explained what happened. Next, we called a few mins later and a guy answered. He said to talk to the manager the next morning but he sounded like he was so done with it. That it hadn’t been the first time. I kept track of everything and created a time frame of things. Also, that Saturday Dec 11, 2021 my boyfriend had his graduation around 10. Well, he was embarrassed that someone had found a bed bug on his gown. I can’t imagine how he felt I hope something is done.
