On Friday April 29 I called the front desk to report bugs in my room and asked for it to be cleaned. When I returned late that evening I noticed the floor didn’t look like it was vacuumed. So the next day I called again and also requested my bedding to be changed. I was in town to visit my grandkids. On Tuesday May 3 I used my flashlight and looked at the edge of my bed in the carpet was a big one. I killed it and picked it up and went down to the main desk. The staff was helpful and seemed very upset as well. We both went to my room and I showed her and took pictures. I looked online to see what a bedbugs look like and it was the bugs in my room. The staff said that the manager was not available and I could talk to him the next day. I was not able to wait to talk to him because I was flying home at that time. The manager apologized and refunded 1 night of my 7 day stay. He said that they had a exterminator come and didn’t find any live bugs. I think I should get my money refunded it reunited the last days of my stay with my family. I was concerned that I may have exposed them. They did not check other rooms just the one I stayed in.
