My mother woke up itching at 12am. She found bed bugs all over the sheets. She took pictures and brought a sample to the front desk. They refused to reimburse us for the two nights she stayed there. They were not even surprised or concerned and said they were trying to fix the infestation one room at a time. They know about this problem and are still allowing people to book rooms and stay the night. What a disgrace.

On December 27th, 2020 I woke up to a bug crawling in the bed at 4:30 a.m. I call front desk to show them the bugs in the bed and the Clerk started playing with the bedbugs. I asked what he was going to do about the situation and he had no clue. He said he had to wait until the next manager come on shift. I told him he had to change my room and that he did. The next one was also filthy beds were dirty, so I just took a shower to get the creepiness off my skin from being bitten by the bed bugs. While in the shower the smoke alarm came on I wouldn't shut off until 20 to 30 minutes later. Again I call the clerk from desk to handle the situation but by the time you got there the alarm set off by itself. So I waited until 7 a.m. to talk to another clerk who was on duty to refund me the money for my room and he wants to charge me $25 for already dirty rooms. I didn't get to sleep like I wanted to and it was a very bad experience for my first time in Los Angeles. This hotel needs to be condemned.
