I have been waking up every morning with bites on my legs. One night my daughter came to see me and kept waking up screaming. When I looked around, I saw that there were bugs crawling away from her. I squished them and blood came out. I realized they were bed bugs and went and told the manager. He denied liability and stated that it was my fault that they got in. The person before me told me he also saw them.

We visited this Best Western on Friday, February 17th. We arrived and noticed white powder at the entrance of the room. My husband inspected the bed and immediately found a live bed bug behind the head board and smaller ones on the mattress. When he requested the refund the cashier didn't deny it and just handed the money over and tried to help us find another hotel. They were still renting rooms knowing there was an active infestation going on!!!Who does that?!? The majority of the rooms on the second floor had the white powder. I spoke to the owner of the hotel who has denied that there was any type of powder despite the fact that I have pictures. He stated the powder must be from them replacing the carpets a month ago. If this is true how often do they vacuum? The owner apologized for the incident and confirmed the room was being treated. Denied that there was an issue and blamed the reaction of the staff member on him being new. Was silent when asked about compensation for articles of clothing that were tossed and took prompting to apologize for the string of bites my daughter experienced. Said that basically he already compensated when he refunded the money. Very disappointed. Stay away from this establishment.
